Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

I think Bailey was born about 20 years too late. Check out the 80s gear she was sporting today during a marathon dress up session with her friend, Maddie. They even performed like Cyndi Lauper. All they were lacking was the side ponytail and leg warmers. At least Lia had the rocking mullet :)

Hello!

I just returned from my visit with with Linda, Denton & Logan. Whew! I had definitely forgotten how exhausting a newborn can be! I am looking forward to sleeping through the night. It was so nice seeing my little ones @ the airport today. Lia gave me the biggest hug and kept patting me on the back. Bailey just wanted to hold my hand. Bill did a wonderful job with them this weekend. He even mopped my floors and vacuumed this morning on top of making me my favorite birthday cake from scratch!!! That guy :) BTW, it's my bday today. 31 years old. We are waiting for our babysitter to arrive so we can go out & gorge ourselves on sushi. I hope I don't fall asleep in my soy sauce :)
Logan is doing great! He is a champion nurser and I know that he will continue to chunk up. Linda & Denton are enjoying their new little man :) They are doing such a great job and I am really proud of them.
Here are some pictures of Bailey @ her Thanksgiving luncheon last week for school. Her friend is Lindsey.

TN Pics

Here are some pictures from our trip to TN last week. Everyone had a blast! Bailey especially loved the carriage @ chuck-e-cheese. We visited Bill's grandaddy in his assisted living facility. He is 93 years old. I know he really enjoyed seeing the girls and it seemed to brighten his day. Bailey was a bit shy so I didn't get any pics of her with him.

I am off to Baltimore on Friday to meet my nephew, Logan. I am very excited about seeing him! Bill is keeping the girls while I am gone. I know that I'm going to miss them terribly. This is my first time to be away from them without Bill being with me so it is going to be weird. But, I am a little excited about being sans kids for a couple of days (even though I'm going to be helping take care of a newborn) I think I forgot how hard those first couple of days can be :)

Family Fun

We have been on TN all week visiting Bill's family while he is on a work excursion nearby. bailey, Lia, and I have had fun playing with gramma, aunt heather, and cousin tyler for the past couple of days. we went to chuck-e-chee's last night for a fun-filled kid adventure. all 3 little ones had a blast riding rides, playing games, and accumulating tickets to retrieve prizes @ the end of the night. When it was all said and done, bailey was able to get a beaded ring and plastic frog. on the way home when asked what was her favorite part of the night, she replied,
"getting to play with my cousin Tyler." gotta love that little kiddo. she really knows what is important in life......

A Day @ the Zoo

Today was the first Saturday in about 2 months that neither Bill or I have had to work. So, we took advantage of the beautiful weather & brought the girls to the zoo. This was Lia's first visit and she had such fun feeding the animals in the Petting Area. I think that Bailey was most fascinated with the Orangatane (spelling?) family because there was a mommy, daddy, and baby. The first time Gramma and I brought Bailey to the zoo, she was about Lia's age and the baby Orang. was a newborn. It is 3 now and was being really cute swinging across the ropes. Bailey also had a blast riding the train and looking @ the hippos and REALLY big alligators.

At this moment, Lia has been asleep for over 2 hours, and bailey and daddy are @ the store buying preparations to make grilled wahoo for dinner. Life is Good. I couldn't have asked for a better Saturday :)

PS--notice my cute "do." I cut it off this week!!!

A Night Out

Bill and I went out with some friends on Sat. and had TONS of fun. Actually, I think I had a little too much fun. But, Bill was really nice to me the next day and let me sleep in. I actually slept until 9:30. Haven't done that in a long time!!! Off to ballet. I have a really cute ballerina ready to go :)

Husbands

Bailey has a husband! She informed us last night that she was married to a boy named "Timron" and he lives in Bluewater Bay. He works with deer and hamsters.
We are so proud :)

About Me

My photo
I am blessed to be able to stay home with my girlies and have a home based business. Someone told me once that I was the ultimate modern woman! I don't know if I'd go that far but I definitely love the fact that I can make money for my family and, at the same time, be there to experience all those "little moments" in my children's lives.
