Early Morning Quiet

It is 7:00 am and both girls are still sleeping peacefully! It is nothing short of a miracle in our home for this to occur. Bill has been out of town since Monday and he is returning today @ 12:47. Can't you tell I am ready for his arrival? Just had to share a sweet moment with Bailey. She has decided that she likes to write lullabies. This is one she wrote 2 nights ago:

"Lullaby, lullaby, I love my mommy. Lullaby, lullaby, I love my mommy."

She repeated it about 5 or 6 times and told me that was my lullaby from her. I have to admit I had tears in my eyes :)

Big Girl?

Lia has decided that she wears panties over her diapers. She also likes to sit on the potty and pretend to wipe her bum....Oh, how I wish she knew what she was doing. Maybe I'll get her potty trained before she turns 2. Wouldn't that be grand?

New Table

Here are some pics of our new dining room table :) Bailey doesn't need a booster seat when she sits @ this one and we have passed her seat down to Lia. Lia's other seat was way too tall for it. Oh well, another garage sale item. I swear, I can make about $1k on a garage sale with all the baby/kid stuff we have.

Earrings

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! We went to a friend's party last night and the girls had fun lighting sparklers and watching daddy shoot fireworks with all the guys. We got to stay until 11:30! Both girls were exhausted when we left but Bailey told me this morning that she had the best time @ the party. We even got to sleep in until 7:45 this morning!!!!! Whew :) I never thought that I would think 7:45 was sleeping in.

Here are pics of Lia posing with some gorgeous dangley dress up earrings. She loves to put them on. She is also quite proud of her striped Hello Kitty socks. That is all she wants to wear. She is such a ham.

About Me

My photo
I am blessed to be able to stay home with my girlies and have a home based business. Someone told me once that I was the ultimate modern woman! I don't know if I'd go that far but I definitely love the fact that I can make money for my family and, at the same time, be there to experience all those "little moments" in my children's lives.
