We went last night to do the obligatory Santa pictures. Bailey was very excited to see santa and tell him that she wanted a Barbie Mariposa doll for Christmas. Lia, on the other hand, wanted NOTHING to do with him. She got her joys from laughing @ the little elf that stood outside of Santa's entrance. However, I felt that we NEEDED to get both girls pictures taken with the Big Guy, much to Lia's resistance. Who doesn't want to hold down a screaming one year old so that she can get her picture taken with a strange man in a red suit and very fake white beard?! I don't know who I felt more sorry for, Santa or Lia.

About Me

- A Day In the Life of My Girls
- I am blessed to be able to stay home with my girlies and have a home based business. Someone told me once that I was the ultimate modern woman! I don't know if I'd go that far but I definitely love the fact that I can make money for my family and, at the same time, be there to experience all those "little moments" in my children's lives.

Poor Lia, she looks like she is being tortured!
Hadley did the same thing at Dad's Office Christmas Party...that is, until he started handing out presents...then she inched closer and closer...after she got her present, she unwrapped it then ran back up to him to say, "thank you." For the rest of the time Santa was there, she would go up to him and give him hugs and kisses and sit on his lap...I personally think she was trying to sweet talk him into giving her more presents..
My little brother did not like anyone in costume until he was around 5 years old. These pictures are so cute!!
